Frequently asked questions

  • What type of therapy do you provide?

I provide therapy and counselling to adults presenting with a range of mental health concerns. If you would like to speak about how we might work together, please email me and we can arrange a 15-minute initial phone discussion. There is no fee for this initial discussion. I believe it is important for you to have the opportunity to decide whether our fit is what you're seeking now.

  • What are your fees?

The fee for a standard appointment is $240. If you have a Mental Health Care Plan from your GP, you will be eligible to receive a Medicare rebate of $96.65 per session for up to 10 sessions in a calendar year.

Please contact your private health provider for information on psychology rebates. Private health rebates are available without a GP referral, however you cannot claim both Medicare and private health for the same session.

  • How long are appointments?

Standard appointments typically last around for 50 to 55 minutes.

  • What is your cancellation policy?

I require 48 hours' notice for appointment cancellations, and cancellations within this 48 hour period will be subject to a late cancellation fee.

  • Do you provide assessments or court reports?

I provide a treatment only service. I do not accept appointments for court reports or workers' compensation or assessment for purpose of legal, family or medico-legal reporting.
